There are many ways in which you can help your community shop thrive, prosper and continue to be a focal point of village life. The three key ways to help are:

1. Buy A Share

Please help by requesting a Share Application Form the next time you are in the shop. The Villaop Nenthead operates under the Industrial and Provident Society Acts. Shareholders liability is limited but your share cannot either be sold or redeemed. Remember, Shareholders do not have to live in the village to care about the shop.

2. Volunteer Your Services

Please do consider offering your services to help with the running of the shop. Volunteers are the life blood of the shop. There are many different types of jobs to suit everyone's preferences. Ask how you can help the next time you are in the shop.

3. Use Your Store

Purchasing just a few goods every week will help the shop survive. Everyone has busy lives and we are realistic to understand that most working families will probably purchase their main weekly/monthly shopping at a large supermarket. However, please try and make a point of visiting the store on a regular basis to purchase your top up and specialty products.
